Waianapanapa State Park is located just before you get to Hana, right past mile marker 32. There are so many things to see and do here, it’s practically a full day’s activity all by itself. The first thing I did was go check out the cave that gave the park its name. There’s a big sign posted right at the start of the trail that explains how the cave got its name, so before you walk the trail be sure to stop and read it. It will make your experience at the cave that much more memorable!
