Waianapanapa State Park

Waianapanapa State Park is one of the best stops on the Road to Hana.  Part of what makes it unforgettable is the view overlooking the black sand beach.  Walk up a set of steps leading away from the beach and towards the blowhole, and stop for a minute to take it all in.  Turquoise water, black sand, blue sky, green plants – not only is it beautiful, it’s totally unique.  Take the extra time to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime view – and, of course, bring your camera.
