This is an easy, three mile trek which closely follows the cliff edge and ends in Hana. Closed toe shoes are recommended for this hike as the path is formed by a honeycomb of erratic tunnels and open pits caused by gasses trapped under cooling lava. Down this path is also a blowhole which has stone offerings, these are sacred, please respect them.
