One of the coolest trees on the Road to Hana is the Paperbark Tree. It’s called Paperbark because its bark is used to make natural biodegradable paper that, because it is a renewable resource, is considered very enviromentally friendly. On the Road to Hana, these trees can be seen at Kaumahina State Park, located a little past mile marker 11.
