If you want to stretch your legs with a hike to a waterfall try Oheo Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools) in Haleakala National Park near Mile Marker 42. You don’t have to hike the whole Pipiwai Trail to reach the Makahiku Falls, this 184-foot waterfall can be viewed from the Makahiku Overlook, which is accessed from the Kipahulu Ranger Station in the Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park. Hana Picnic Co. has all the information and directions.
