Let the wind blow your hair!

The Road to Hana is great for convertibles, if you drive with the top down, be prepared for an awesome viewing experience, the sun warming your face and the wind in your hair! But there’s also a 99% chance of having to pull over at one point or another for rain and when you do pull over, be sure to get off  the road completely and do it slowly and safely, waiting till it’s safe to pull over. Getting a little wet is worth not going off a cliff or hitting another car around a bend.  If you don’t think you are willing to get a little wet, keep the top up or rent a  car or an SUV. Be sure to pick up your free Route Map and all your supplies from Hana Picnic Co. in Paia before you set off!
