Kaihalulu Red Sand Beach.
One of Hana’s many hidden treasures is Kaihalulu Red Sand Beach. This beach is stunning, with black lava rock and blue water contrasting with fiery red sand. However, this destination is not for everyone for a couple of reasons. One, the hike down to the beach is extremely difficult, so only experienced hikers should attempt it. Two, the red sand beach is clothing optional – so stay away if you’re not comfortable with that.
