Black Sand Beach Anyone?

Want to see a genuine black sand beach in your journey down the Hana Highway?  Check out Waianapanapa State Park.  There’s parking and a picnic area near the beach, as well as caves and lava tubes nearby that you can tour.  We think seeing a genuine black sand beach is a must-do while you’re in Hawaii, and seeing Waianapanapa State Park is a great activity for many reasons.
