If you’ve heard that it can be a little challenging to get to the upper waterfall at Twin Falls, which is one of the first stops along the Road to Hana, you’ve come to the right place for an answer to your question. Truthfully, I personally found it to be a little difficult, but not impossible and well worth it. After walking a little ways along a trail, we came to a place where we had to climb a couple of concrete stairs onto a ledge and then hop down. Next came the hardest part. The only way to the pool where the upper fall is located is to cross a rocky creek bed. if you can, bring water shoes – it will make it much easier. However, the good news is you still get a great view of the upper fall without crossing the water.
