On my recent journey down the Road to Hana, I decided to follow conventional wisdom and make my first stop Hana Picnic Lunch Company in Paia. The staff was super helpful and friendly. My friend and I were looking for a couple of sandwiches to throw in the cooler and some smoothies to start the day with. We walked out with four box lunches – since we didn’t want the chips or cookies, they gave us tons of delicious, fresh pineapple instead. We left with three vegetarian Captain Aloha sandwiches and one Shaka with turkey. All of them were delicious, and since we kept them in the cooler bag,they stayed yummy all day. Also, the Jaws Break smoothie I picked to start my day tasted great and kept me going all morning!
